Society Meeting Thursday October 4thJoin us Thursday evening at 6:30 for our monthly meeting. Our topic this month is "Studio Still Life" please remember that you don't have to bring an image that is related to the theme but it should be a recent image. You may e-mail the files to me no later than Wednesday evening.
Several members are thinking of going to the Florida Railroad Museum in Parrish this Saturday. They are having a Civil War re-enactment on Saturday. Photographic Art Society Don Vista Cultural Arts Center Saint Pete Beach "Trees" Thru December 30th The Art Center Sarasota September 11th- October 27th Jayanti Seiler’s large format Polaroid’s are inspired by film noir and contrast the grace, delicacy, and power present in the human form. Seiler is a professional photographer and visual arts instructor. Her fine art photography has been published and exhibited throughout the country. In 2000 Seiler was commissioned for a digital photography project at the Museum of Modern Art, NYC and she was the film still photographer on HBO’s the feature-length film “The Blue Diner.”

Digital Images for the group should be jpeg files 1024x768 at 100ppi files names should be initials, month,year, title example (js0207treeballet.jpg). You may also bring prints that are matted image area should be at least 8x10 |
